Welcome to Sono-Qui: I Am Here Therapy

Sono-Qui (Italian for 'I am here') offers counseling and therapy services based on Narrative Therapy and Yoga Philosophy. The intention is to help you bring about lasting peace and joy in your life. The holistic East-West approach acknowledges the value of integrating ancient wisdom with Western techniques for realizing lasting well-being

 

Sono-Qui offers individual and group sessions, as well as on-demand workshops and courses. Flexibly, holistically, online. Sessions are available in four languages: English, Spanish, Swedish, and in Hungarian.

The I Am Here Therapy Approach 

Pillar #1: Narrative Therapy

Narrative Therapy is a 21st century Australian therapeutic modality that is very effective at helping people recognise their innate resilience, critically reflect on their own stories of themselves, and, as a result, gain momentum for progess amidst life's challenges. By emphasising non-identification with mental states and focusing on inner resilience, Narrative Therapy will help you detach from, and stop feeding unhelpful images of yourself. Consequently, it is perhaps the most suitable Western psychotherapy modality to complement Yoga Philosophy.

Pillar #2: Yoga Philosophy

Yoga is an ancient Indian science that combines movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to enhance mental and phyiscal well-being, and ultimately realiase liberation: freedom from circumstances and their mental narration. Mindfulness is simply conscious awareness of one's internal mental and emotional activity. This is somtimes referred to as being the Observer. When practiced persistently, mindfulness leads to liberation from attachment to thoughts and emotions, and therefore a lasting freedom from past trauma.
